I run a boutique executive search firm in NYC and we recruit for companies all over the US. Recently, I have been startled by the number of people (at senior levels) who have complained about the rude treatment afforded them by many search professionals. These comments have been directed toward firms and individuals, mostly the large ones, but not exclusively! Doesn't any body know that today's Job Hunter is tomorrows client. I'm really not giving away any secrets here but if you call an executive recruiter, who you thought was your friend, and he/she won't give you the time of day. Call me! I love to meet and talk to new people,its how I run my business!
